Timeframe

A typical Reiki session lasts around 60 minutes. This is made up of 10 to 15 minutes of health and welbeing dicussion which supports the treatments following be 45 - 50 minutes of focused Reike.

How is Reiki Performed

During the session, you will lie down fully clothed while the practitioner places their hands lightly on or above specific energy points on the body. You may feel a warm sensation, tingling, or deep relaxation as energy flows through the practitioner’s hands to your body. Many clients report experiencing a profound sense of calm and emotional release.

Preparing for Reiki

To prepare for a Reiki treatment, it’s best to wear comfortable clothing and arrive with an open mind. You don’t need to do anything special beforehand, but staying hydrated and avoiding heavy meals before your session can enhance your experience. Set an intention for the session, whether it’s stress relief, emotional healing, or physical well-being, to help guide the energy.

How Will I Feel Afterwards

After a Reiki session, many people feel deeply relaxed and refreshed. You may experience an emotional release, such as a sense of lightness or increased clarity. Occasionally, some clients report feeling tired or emotional, which is part of the healing process as your body adjusts to the shift in energy. Be gentle with yourself after the session, drink plenty of water, and rest if needed.
